WHO
Manny Ramirez is a former college baseball player from Pearland, Tx, he is also a very well known coach and player in the Houston area. Manny has helped over hundreds of athletes compete at the next level and he doesn't plan on stopping anytime soon! Coach Manny is a full time coach where he gives baseball and softball lessons year round, camps & clinics with colleges along with coaching select softball and baseball teams.
WHY
Manny was coached by his father Ivan Ramirez who passed away in 2024, Ivan played baseball all of his life including playing at the professional level for a few seasons. After retiring from playing Ivan began to coach his own baseball & softball teams, he is the founder of Texas Magic. After tragically passing Manny took over the organization and began to coach just like father.
PLAYING CAREER
Manny played high school baseball at Manvel HS where he won numerous awards and accolades. During his time at Manvel he was the teams starting 2nd baseman and was a pitcher in the starting rotation. At the plate Manny finished a .300+ average hitter, finished top in OBP along with an ERA under 2.50 and top in K's on the bump! Some of the awards Manny won at Manvel are '23 RP of the year, '24 P of the year, Top 2nd baseman in 2024 class those are just to name a few. After graduating Manny played in the Perfect Game Collegiate League in Tomball, Tx. After his success in High School, Travel Ball and College leagues he went on to play college baseball in Oklahoma where he unfortunately had a career ending injury to his elbow. COACHING CAREER
Manny is the current owner and head coach of the Texas Magic Fast pitch organization in Pearland, Tx. He also is the founder of The Lab Sports a training program that helps baseball and softball payers around the world where he has sent tons of baseball and softball players to the collegiate level. Prior to taking over Texas Magic he worked with multiple professional baseball organizations and leagues most recently with a team in the American Association. Manny has won multiple tournaments and showcases along with running his own tournaments and camps. He also serves as the hitting coach for the Team Mexico Women's National Softball Team.
SOCIAL MEDIA BASE
Manny records almost all of his lessons to make social media videos to spread his knowledge to coaches and players around the world. On TikTok he has over 25K followers and videos up to 5 million views! WHAT HE OFFERS
Coach Twin offers hitting, pitching, fielding and catching lessons for both baseball and softball in person and virtually! If you aren't a baseball or softball player he also offers strength and conditioning sessions. Manny has helped over 150 with his private lesson, he has worked with athletes from the league level to the professional level. Manny teaches his hitters to hit hard line drives up the middle, pitchers to throw strikes and fielders to work through the ball while being accurate with their arms.
